Yu-Wei Hu (baroque flute) and Johan Löfving (theorbo) perform masterpieces by Handel, Roman and Barsanti as well as a work by John Reid. In 1839 John Reid bequeathed funds to establish a Chair of Music at the University of Edinburgh and wished that an annual concert 'Reid Memorial Concert' was given in his memory on or around his birthday on 13th February.
