Edinburgh College of Art has well-equipped glass workshops for the blowing, cutting and casting of glass objects. The space includes hot and cold glass workshops and a plaster room.
The jewellery and silversmithing workshops at Edinburgh College of Art are equipped to support students through all of the stages of their small- to medium-sized jewellery and silversmithing projects.
This large wood workshop hosts a huge range of machinery and hand tools for the cutting, shaping, and general fabrication of woods, as well as metals, plastics, and cardboard.

Eligibility: For research interests aligning with, or cutting across, ECA's Schools.
College Research Awards

Value: Tuition fees plus stipend of £15,500 per year for three years
Eligibility: Applications are invited from first year applicants for PhD research projects that take advantage of the leading research expertise across ECA. Home and Overseas applicants welcome. Funding for full-time and part-time study (pro rata).
