The Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA) recognises the cultural, environmental, and societal importance of the practices that make up our school.

Our ambition is to reimagine education in the context of the climate crisis by celebrating a diversity of voices and forms of knowledge. ESALA operates at the intersection of advanced creative practice and a world-leading research environment, bringing the two together to enable critical responses to contemporary and future challenges facing our fields. Our graduates are practitioners, thinkers, and creators who will make a positive social impact and redefine the future of our disciplines.
