Silvia brings over 15 years of practical experience in Design and Architecture to our academic community. Having led student cohorts in India, Vietnam, and the UK, she focuses on the essentials of placemaking and the cultural aspects of spatial design. Her interests lay in concept development that explore the intersection of design and culture, the translation of mixed media references into space and place, and international collaboration in transnational education in design.

At SCF (Edinburgh) she serves as the Programme Director for Interiors, and is interested in curriculum development and feedback strategies.
