Research

Sanmin’s research interests focus on how clay sculpting combined with nature observation can be used as an intervention to support health and well-being in daily life. In her research, hand-building clay sculpting is informed by the observation of nature and has been developed as a designed practice to understand the connections between the inner world and the external world including local environments and the sense of space and place. Sanmin’s artistic explorations build a foundation for her to create the transformative space between art practices and everyday life to serve health and well-being.
