Minshu is a mixed-media artist and design researcher undertaking a practice-led PhD in Design at the University of Edinburgh. She trained in visual communication design before completing an MA in Textiles at the Royal College of Art.

Her work moves across textile practice, visual culture and the contemporary expression of craft knowledge. She asks how traditional crafts shape understandings of belonging, identity and cultural relations, and treats craft as a means of observing, thinking and making knowledge. Drawing on embodied phenomenology, cosmotechnics and Chinese philosophy, she examines how traces, gestures and materials carry tacit knowledge and generate forms of craft intelligence. Her current research asks how textile making can support a pluriversal understanding of identity, local narrative and human experience under a shifting global context.
