Biography

Mengxuan Sui graduated with a bachelor's degree in English literature from the Ocean University of China in 2014. In 2015, he got his master's degree in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies from the University of Edinburgh. Since 2017, He has been working as a PhD candidate under the instruction of Prof Chia-ling Yang and Prof Jill Burke at the University of Edinburgh.

Research

Mengxuan Sui primarily focuses on the literati culture and female painters from the late Qing period.
