Political Expression: Collective Portraiture of High Officials in Late Imperial East Asia

Biography

Jiaying Gu pursues his doctoral degree in art history in the University of Edinburgh, completing a dissertation on group portraits of high officials in Ming China (1368-1644) and Chosŏn Korea (1392-1910). Jiaying got her MA in East Asian Studies from Yale University, an MA in Art History from University of California, Davis, and a Certificate in Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
