Biography

Having worked in professional practice as an Architect involved in predominantly interiors projects and as a specialist lighting consultant for 20 years Gillian has experience in collaborative international projects working with James Turrell, Jean Nouvel Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects, Jean Michel Wilmotte and many others. Now teaching and researching Gillian is involved full-time with the ECA Interiors programme.

Teaching

Interiors undergraduate course and Lighting for Spaces elective course.

Research

Research focusses on architectural lighting and pedagogical approaches in interior design. Explorations have developed new approaches for lighting pedagogy within architecture and interior design courses.
