Three BA (Hons) Interior Design alumni have been name checked by Mix Interiors and Country & Town House magazines.

Featuring on Mix Interior’s ‘Mix 30 under 30: Class of 2024’ are Anna Bishop (2022) and Andrew Murray (2018). Aaliyah Oshodi (2020) is featured on Country & Town House’s 2024 ‘The Future Designers Hot List’.

Programme Director Gina Olsson, said of the announcements:

“It is fantastic to see these Interior Design alumni recognised as rising stars within the field of design and architecture. Their success reaffirms our position as a programme pushing the boundaries of the discipline, to produce innovative forward thinkers, who graduate industry-ready.”

Speaking about her selection, Anna said:

“It is a great honour to have been selected for this list and to get my name out there in the wider industry, particularly so early on in my career. However, for me, it’s really nice to have received the support and recognition from my team at DesignLSM who nominated me.

“I absolutely loved my time at ECA on the Interior Design programme. Both the course and the tutors have been hugely influential on my work. The course, for me, perfectly balanced the conceptual side of interior design alongside the practical skills required to create operational spaces. It gave me a very realistic idea of the industry I’d be entering into but also the confidence to be creative and experimental in my designs.”

“Being selected for Country & Town House’s 2024 The Future Designers Hot List is an amazing and substantial milestone in my career,” said Aaliyah. “It’s not just about personal recognition, but also about being acknowledged alongside some truly remarkable and tenacious designers.

“My experience with United in Design has already introduced me to a fantastic network of designers, and this recognition feels like a natural extension of that journey.

“Being at ECA was instrumental in developing my core interior design skills. The program provided a strong foundation in design principles and practical skills, which have been immensely helpful in my career. It helped me refine my approach to design and gave me the confidence to explore and push creative boundaries in my work.”
