Creative Informatics aims to bring Edinburgh’s world-class creative industries and tech sector together, utilising innovative data-driven technologies to develop ground-breaking new products, businesses and experiences. 
Creative Informatics is one of nine R&D clusters across the UK that make up the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Creative Industries Clusters Programme, funded by UK Research and Innovation. The programme aims to accelerate growth in the creative industries by bringing together world class talent from across the UK. Creative Informatics is also supported by additional funding from the Scottish Funding Council and Data Driven Innovation.
