Your lifelong alumni community 

Together our alumni form a uniquely diverse and talented community of over 24,000 creatives across the globe. The ECA alumni community includes graduates from all five subject areas: architecture and landscape architecture; design; art; history of art; and music.

Congratulations on your graduation! We are delighted to welcome you to the Edinburgh College of Art alumni community. 

We know life after graduation can feel daunting, but there are lots of resources and networks available to support you. Here you can find all the support, advice and resources that you need as you start your new journey after university.

Graduation ceremonies for ECA take place in the magnificent McEwan Hall on Bristo Square.

Update your contact details

We will not be able to contact you using your student email address after you graduate. Make sure to update your details on our Alumni Portal to ensure we can keep in touch with you. 

Here you can keep your contact details up to date, choose your communication preferences, and access digital resources including your academic statement, your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), and JSTOR, a digital library of journals and images.

The history of ECA’s alumni community

Graduates of Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) have been making their mark on the global arts scene since the early twentieth century, though our roots go back even further, with many success stories shaped in the institutions from which we emerged.
