We are proud that, building on ESALA’s success in 2014, the whole school of ECA has now been awarded the Athena Swan Bronze Award recognising our work to address and support gender equality.

Another successful Degree Show and another year of successful graduates and continuing students!

A massive congratulations to all of our hard-working students who graduated this year, and to those who have won awards.

Successes include most awards ever won by a single film at the annual Student Television Awards.

Our final year students dominate the fashion industry’s annual showcase of new design talent.

The Artists’ Collecting Society Studio Award aims to support emerging talent by providing one graduating School of Art student with a fully-funded 12 month residency at a studio of their choice in the city.

Jonathan Lynn and Suzanne Priestley win the Urban Design award; Chiara Fingland, Sarah Comfort and Nick Green commended.

ECA academics have won a number of awards in this year’s Edinburgh University Students Association (EUSA) teaching awards.
