Studying Sound Design at ECA allowed Ana to to explore the experimental side of sound design. Her curiosity was fuelled by her desire to always keep learning about new technologies emerging in the sound design industry.

For Marco, enrolling on the Sound Design - MScR programme seemed the perfect opportunity to expand and refine his sound design skills. The part-time study option allowed Marco the flexibility to work in the industry alongside his research.

Carly studied History of Art and English Literature and now works in the Paintings Department at Lyon and Turnbull Auctioneers.


Studying MA (Hons) History of Art gave Zelda the opportunity to explore her interests in cultural policy, race and representation through varied programme subject matter, broad range of electives and extracurricular activities.

Niall McCallum graduated from Music Technology - BMus (Hons) in 2010. He currently runs his own business, ModeAudio.

Studying Graphic Design at ECA prepared Megan for entering the design industry upon graduation. The hands on approach to teaching and industry-related project briefs equipped Megan with the necessary tools and experience to be able to jump right into the industry, even amid a global pandemic.

Andy Glidden recalls how a bright pink rocking chair landed him an appearance on TV show Blue Peter. Following an international career at various design consultancies, he set up Glidden Design in 1998.


The 2021 website has been shortlisted for a Drum Award for the Digital Industries in the Best Website Design category.


Renowned for her compositions, Anna was nominated for a 2015 Grammy Award and her piece 'Masquerade', which premiered at the BBC Proms in 2013, was reworked and recorded as the BBC Proms theme tune in 2017.
