ECA is engaged in a variety of projects that build and maintain relationships with schools and colleges, with the aim of easing students' transition into their chosen creative degree and providing information, advice and guidance for prospective students, as well as their parents, teachers and careers advisors.

After a successful pilot project in the summer of 2016, Music in the Community at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) has returned to Greece to continue work engaging refugee children in music-making and song.
Initiated and led by Dr Patricia Allmer, with Dr Emily Goetsch and Cara Samuels, the programme allowed students theoretical, historical, and practical engagements with different ECA subject areas including Art, Design, History of Art, and Music.
Matluba Khan will be working with Deveron Arts on children’s perception of the landscape.

Kristen Kreider is a writer and artist who works in collaboration with the architect James O’Leary to engage with sites of architectural and cultural interest.
