ECA is engaged in a variety of projects that build and maintain relationships with schools and colleges, with the aim of easing students' transition into their chosen creative degree and providing information, advice and guidance for prospective students, as well as their parents, teachers and careers advisors.

This artist talk is an introduction to the art practice of the Freee art collective (FAC) and the Partisan Social Club (PSC).

Initiated and led by Dr Patricia Allmer, with Dr Emily Goetsch and Cara Samuels, the programme allowed students theoretical, historical, and practical engagements with different ECA subject areas including Art, Design, History of Art, and Music.

This national conference co-hosted by Engage Scotland, the National Association for Gallery Education, and Edinburgh College of Art will provide a national platform for sharing best practice with colleagues and for joining up thinking, identifying problems and determining goals for future models in supporting schools, teachers and pupils to engage with contemporary art.
