A multi-disciplinary scoping study about colour teaching across the University of Edinburgh and other UK institutions.

Research team are interviewing academics across a range of disciplines who are either teaching or researching aspects of colour.

A new collaborative project from University of Edinburgh, Artlink and the Pentland Ward of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital considers the role of colour within hospital environments to aid wayfinding and provide more varied, characterful spaces for patients, relatives and nursing staff.

The exhibition is based on research by Prof Fiona McLachlan, the Professor of Architectural Practice at ECA.

After studying graphic design in his home of Uruguay, artist Santiago Paulós wanted a programme that would articulate his ideas and contextualise his work – this attracted him to study the MFA in Contemporary Art Practice here at ECA.
