My background is architectural, graduating from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in 2004 before venturing into professional practice for several years.
In 2009 I stepped back from architecture to indulge my passions for tangible hands-on design, entrepreneurship, and craft; co-founding Method Studio; a design studio and artisan workshop based in Linlithgow which counts Burberry, Hermes, Aesop and Bentley among its clients.
I continue to act as senior designer for Method Studio while gleefully lecturing with Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation, a joint institute with Edinburgh college of Art.
I joined Shanghai College of Fashion and Innovation in the Autumn of 2021 and have had the pleasure of teaching Interior design across many year groups both online and in person in Shanghai.
