With her MFA in Glass from Edinburgh College of Art (May 2015), Lisa is continuing her post-graduate work with the School of Design at ECA and currently pursuing her PhD, which focuses on the creative process. She was fortunate to win the Principal’s Career Development Award from the University of Edinburgh to support her doctoral studies. Her practice pushes glass in new directions and her collaborative work combining glass, sound, and engineering earned the Ingenious Award from the Royal Academy of Engineering. She leads the Makers Marks Collaborative, which brings together multiple disciplines to explore and question the nature of glass. Formerly based in New England, USA, Lisa's experience includes formal training in studio art and art history as well as a fifteen year professional career in arts administration that involved extensive work with the Tanglewood Music Festival, where she met her collaborator and counterpart, composer David Faleris. Together with David, she is a member of the RAFT research network at ECA.
