  • Providing ECA with competent advice and assistance on all matters relating to health and safety
  • Advising ECA staff and students on appropriate measures to control risks arising from the day-to-day activities within ECA
  • Carrying out inspections of all ECA sites to ensure on-going compliance with standards, and investigating any accidents / work related ill health / near misses
  • Providing a link between ECA and the UoE Corporate H&S team
  • Co-ordinating Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) as required
  • Advising ECA Health and Safety Committee, and developing and implementing appropriate health and safety policies and procedures
