On the 29th February 2016 the Creative & Cultural Careers Festival (CCCF) kicked off for its third year. The CCCF is a week-long festival of events run by the University of Edinburgh Careers Service, focused on careers in creative industries, media and cultural institutions. This is the third year of the festival, and has led to another collaboration with the Design Agency Project at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA).
The Design Agency Project is part of ECA’s Graphic Design programmes, and gives students the chance to work as part of a functioning in-house design agency, working to client briefs. The successful agency chosen to work on CCCF this year was BOND.
They were responsible for all the marketing and promotional material, as well as a new venture for the Careers Service – an experiential marketing feature. BOND came up with the concept of an interactive metal sculpture which has been positioned in George Square. The idea was to run a photography competition incorporating the sculpture as part of the festival.
