It is becoming increasingly important that researchers appropriately manage all aspects of their research output, especially when the final outcome of a project may be ephemeral. Research funders and the University are placing ever more stringent demands on those they support to ensure that all research outputs are preserved and shared long after the project has ended, and it is becoming the norm to share underlying data or outputs alongside publications to permit validation and increase impact.

During this session, you will gain an understanding of funder, and university requirements and be introduced to the ways in which the school and university can support you to achieve good Research Data Management that will benefit you as well as the wider world.
