Online Information Session: Modern and Contemporary Art; History, Curating, Criticism - MSc

  • 4pm BST

  • Online

Join Programme Directors, Angela Dimitrakaki and Kirsten Lloyd, to discuss the MSc in Modern and Contemporary Art: History, Curating, Criticism.

Are you interested in developing an in-depth understanding of art and its contexts of interpretation and display from the late 19th to the 21st century?  Then this programme is ideal for you.

The programme places a strong emphasis on theoretical and philosophical debates, while the annual Fellowship in Contemporary Art Theory and Curating offers an opportunity to look behind the scenes and learn directly from a practitioner. We look forward to welcoming Charles Esche, Director of the Van Abbemuseum to this position in 2018/19.

Students can also choose from a selection of optional internships in the cultural sector in or near Edinburgh (offered on a competitive basis) that provide hands-on experience.

The session will be delivered using Blackboard Ultra. You will be able to participate in the session and ask questions via text chat or speak to us directly. To book your place, please register via Eventbrite.
