Online Information Session: Design For Change - MA

  • 3pm BST

  • Online

Join Programme Director, Arno Verhoeven, for an insight into Design for Change - MA, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

The session will focus on providing guidance on how to successfully prepare the portfolio elements of your application; a 2 minute introductory video and a collection of visual support material. It is important to consider carefully how you assemble your portfolio as this is one of the best devices we have to build up a picture of your capacities and to judge how you will benefit from and thrive within the programme.

Design for Change is an exciting new programme which seeks to address complex, global challenges such as disruptive technologies, ageing populations, economic instability, conflict and displacement and environmental degradation through design-led interventions.

As a student, you will develop the skills to ideate, communicate and deliver propositions for change founded on inclusive design-led interventions driven by tactical, critical, strategic and creative approaches.

This programme is ideal for students who are looking to broaden their existing specialist approaches from a range of disciplines with new and appropriate 21st century design skills which can be applied across a variety of intellectual and creative contexts, including sociology, engineering, business, anthropology, geography, and especially design itself.

The session will be delivered using Blackboard Ultra. You will be able to participate in the session and ask questions via text chat or speak to us directly. To book your place, please register through Eventbrite.
