ESALA Research Seminar: Anthony Auerbach

This week’s guest speaker, Anthony Auerbach, is an artist, studied architecture, taught architecture, wrote a PhD on Josef Albers’ Structural Constellations, since 2002, International Necronautical Society (INS) Chief of Propaganda (Archiving and Epistemological Critique), in 2014 founded The Function Room: a space for contemporary art in Somers Town, London.

The seminar will be a discussion on inspecting surfaces, aerial surveillance, enemy contact, necronautical materialism, an empty library and a map turning back into a landscape. Anthony Auerbach will present Aerial Reconnaissance Berlin (2004–2010) and The State of New York (2006-2008), among other works and speculations.
