This is the second of two panel discussions that looks at artists as entrepreneurs. The panel is made up of graduates from Edinburgh College of Art who have created their own ventures, as well as academics and practitioners in the creative space. The graduates will provide a narrative around how they set up their own venture and how the university helped in this process, followed by a Q&A from the audience.
The core artistic trait of creativity - to find creative solutions and overcome challenges - is also core to the entrepreneurial mindset. Combined with the other artistic traits of intuition, thinking outside of the box, risk taking and a sense of purpose, artists should have all the skills to be a model entrepreneur. Come along and join the discussion.
