Creative Informatics is a major research and development programme for the creative industries led by the University of Edinburgh in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, CodeBase and Creative Edinburgh. Creative Informatics supports creative individuals and organisations to develop innovative products, services and experiences using data.
Come along to the first Creative Informatics Exhibition to see some of the incredible work developed with funding and support from Creative Informatics. Exhibits include Civic Digits’ Data-driven Actor, an interactive piano sculpture produced by Tinderbox Collective and Pianodrome, artwork from environmental design studio Ploterre, and Painting Music, a generative art project from artist Kate Steenhauer.
The exhibition is in rooms C03 and C04 of ECA's Main Building, Lauriston Place.
