Our annual series of Architectural Conservation Masterclasses is organised by the Scottish Centre for Conservation Studies (SCCS), ECA's specialist research and teaching unit on architectural conservation and the history of the built environment.

Featuring leading national and international figures from a wide spectrum of disciplines, the series is a recognised pathway for Continuous Professional Development, and also includes a special, expert-led seminar specifically for our Architectural Conservation - MSc students.

Typically held in the evening (usually on selected Thursdays at 5.30pm), each Masterclass addresses a subject of major significance within architectural conservation or cultural landscape heritage.

We regularly collaborate with partner organisations to host the sessions, most recently Europa Nostra, the Institute of Historic Building Conservation - IHBC and docomomo International Specialists Committee on Urbanism and Landscape - docomomo ISC U+L.

Details of the current series and booking information are published on the Architectural Conservation Masterclass website.

The masterclasses are free for all students and staff of the university.
