Founded in Pollock Halls of Residence in 1967, the Edinburgh University Renaissance Singers has continued since then to explore the music of the 15th and 16th centuries, giving regular concerts throughout Scotland and undertaking an annual tour to places as far flung as Armenia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland and Portugal.

The choir is hosting a reunion weekend on 10-12 March, welcoming back over fifty former members to join the current choir in celebrating the anniversary. The highlight is a 50th Anniversary Concert in St. Giles Cathedral on Saturday 11 March.
