The range of our research is broad in relation to the disciplines it embraces, the methodologies and practices it employs, and the interconnections it makes, both within the College and beyond into other academic areas, practice, the professions and industry.  This is evident in the three separate submissions to UoA 16, UoA 34 and UoA 35, we have prepared for the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework.

What we seek to achieve through our research is relevance and a response to context, in both a scholarly sense and beyond the academy. We see our work as relevant to a range of broadly described areas of contemporary and historical cultures and practices, embracing the global, the digital and the material worlds, and proposing new paradigms for questions of narrative, curation, social engagement and other emerging fields.

These themes are expanded in the links to projects, centres, and staff web pages.
